Bret Hart's Attacker Identified As Amateur MMA Fighter

Sean Ross Sapp at Fightful.Com is reporting that the identity of the attacker at tonight's 2019 WWE Hall of Fame has been identified as amateur MMA Fighter Zach Madsen. In his first match up in the cage (2-1 record) he wore a Jack Swagger t-shirt (shown above). He is certainly a "fan" of pro wrestling as his Twitter account has lots of bizarre messages about WWE superstars, perhaps even signifying some sort of mental illness. Madsen had quit his job at AllState Contact Center to focus on his MMA career which is likely about to come to an end after his bizarre and dangerous antics at the HOF. Luckily tonight's actions didn't lead to tragedy (except maybe for him). He is currently in jail awaiting arraignment. He is being charged with 2 counts of assault in the 3rd degree and disorderly conduct. Madsen is banned from all future WWE events for his actions. As historically known from past incidents, as an attendee of a pro wrestling event it is never a good idea to try to jump the guard rail and become part of the show. It never ends well for the "fan".

It's also worth noting that Madsen had been arrested last year for violating a protection order:
