Former ECW General Manager and Urban Wrestling Federation owner Steve Karel is reportedly set to invest in Combat Zone Wrestling and will be involved in the overseeing of the promotion, according to PWInsider.com

An official announcement is expected to be made shortly following an agreement that took place in New York City earlier this week. 

Karel is set to bring his managerial skills in contracts, TV and PPV to the brand which has been in existence since 1999.
