It appears that tonight’s planned match on WWE Monday Night Raw between Rey Mysterio and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has been pulled.

As of the initial reports from multiple sources, there is no word as to why this move was made; however, the reports state that the timing appears to be interesting given the recent piece from John Oliver on HBO regarding how WWE can do better in regards to the overall health of their performers.

Fans have also noted that over the past few weeks, Angle has appeared to have issues during his matches because of the wear and tear on his body. Furthermore, Angle himself has also acknowledged that he isn’t the same competitor that he was a few years ago prior to getting sober.

As it pertains to this coming Sunday night’s WrestleMania 35 event, Angle’s farewell match against Baron Corbin is still expected to take place.
