Conor McGregor Under Investigation For Alleged Sexual Assault

One of the big news stories this week is that UFC’s biggest star Conor McGregor announced that he will be retiring from Mixed Martial Arts and speculation surrounding his future has been rampant with the usual rumor mill buzzing that he may be about to embark on a professional wrestling career.

Today however Police in Ireland have confirmed they are investigating McGregor for an alleged sexual assault that was reported by a woman in December.

The Irish Times reported the story back in January but didn't name the "sportsman" due to legal reasons.

McGregor has not been formally charged.
