A few years ago it would have been unthinkable to see Jeff Jarrett back in the WWE, let alone in the Hall Of Fame, and more recently he has taken on the role of a backstage producer. The saying of “never say never” couldn't be more appropriate when it comes to Jarrett.
PWInsider is today reporting that Jarrett is now also part of the WWE creative writing team in a full-time role.
WWE officials are keen to recruit a strong and experienced writing team ahead of SmackDown Live's move to FOX which is being taken very seriously with regards to the need to boost ratings. FOX executives have reportedly told WWE they need to make improvements to the blue-brand if it wants to stay on the FOX network, and viewership will be a big part of pleasing those at the top.
In addition to Jarrett, Bruce Prichard recently returned to the company as a consultant.
