Multiple sources are reporting that WWE SmackDown LIVE Superstar and current SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka has apparently suffered a neck injury during a match she was competing in during a WWE live event tonight.
Asuka was competing in a match against Mandy Rose in White Plains, New York, when during the match, Asuka was dropped on her head. Following this, the referee threw up the “X” sign, and the match was then ruled a No Contest before WWE producers sprinted to the ring to check on her.
As of the initial reports, there is no word on Asuka’s condition, but WNS will continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available.
