Update on The Great Khali's Continental Wrestling Entertainment Promotion in India

As fans might be aware, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali founded his own wrestling promotion in India back in 2015 called CWE: Continental Wrestling Entertainment. The promotion has been gaining momentum since its inception, and IndianExpress.com recently posted a lengthy article about the promotion.

In the article, Khali revealed that they are hoping to land a television deal in India at some point:

"This academy is the result of my 18 years of wrestling. I learnt a lot from Vince McMahon."

"People have approached me for a television deal, but I don’t want to rush in. It has to be my vision and design. Others have tried and failed, but once we get our type of deal, this could be special.”
