Entering the world of wrestling in the 1960s, Race is a former NWA Heavyweight Champion, as well as the first WWE United States Champion.
Highly respected for his toughness and dedication, Race is a member of the NWA, WWE, Professional Wrestling and Wrestling Observer Hall of Fames.
We here at WNS would like to offer our very best wishes to Race and his family at this truly awful time.
Correction: It's been revealed that Harley's cancer is NOT terminal.
I’ve just spoke to Harley Race’s family and yes he has been diagnosed with Lung Cancer but it’s not terminal. He’s being treated and supervised by his doctors. He is still very active in @worldleaguewlw and appreciates everyone’s concerns. pic.twitter.com/jn2uYLFeDF
