As fans have noticed, current WWE United States Champion R-Truth has only appeared sparingly on television since winning the title from Shinsuke Nakamura on January 29th.

According to a report from Slice Wrestling, WWE officials are aware of the fact that the U.S. Title hasn't been featured very prominently as of late, and they are having discussions about how they could elevate the championship in the coming weeks and months. There is also talk about featuring the U.S. Title in a big match at WrestleMania:
