There's reportedly some truth to the rumors of a returning Kevin Owens possibly challenging WWE Champion Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania, according to @Wrestlevotes. The situation was described as "fluid" and it was noted that nothing for the WWE Title match at WrestleMania is set in stone as of now.
It was also noted that Kofi's ongoing wave of momentum could still shake things up. A source noted to WrestleVotes that they wouldn't be shocked to see Kingston vs. Bryan for the title at WrestleMania 35. Meltzer reported a returning superstar could possibly be Bryan's opponent at Mania.
Kofi is currently scheduled to challenge Bryan for the title at WWE Fastlane on March 10, which will be the final pay-per-view event before WrestleMania 35. Kofi was not the original choice for Bryan's Fastlane opponent
Asked about the Bryan v Owens Mania rumors. Got back that they are true.

HOWEVER, nothing is set in stone.
This wave of momentum that Kofi is on could still shake things up. One source I talked to said don’t be shocked to see Bryan v Kofi as the Mania title match in the end.
And just like that... “plans changed” per Meltzer.

Seems like Kofi vs Bryan could in the cards for FastLane, and potentially Mania. Fluid situation at the moment. https://t.co/m4QMvSg5RU
A “list” of superstars under consideration for Daniel Bryan’s WrestleMania opponent has been reported via Big Dave. All returning guys including Cena, Batista, Wyatt, Owens mentioned. Not saying it’s false, but to think they haven’t “reconsidered” & added Kofi is beyond baffling.
