Braun Strowman To Compete In 2019 WWE Men’s Royal Rumble Match

During tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble Kickoff Show, it was announced by WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler that Braun Strowman will now be competing in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match.

Lawler announced that Strowman would be taking the place of John Cena, who was pulled from the match due to an injury to his ankle.

Strowman had previously been pulled from the Royal Rumble event itself due to still not being completely healed from his recent elbow surgery. Strowman had been scheduled to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at tonight’s event.
