XFL Currently Negotiating Two Significant Television Deals

Plans and preparation for the relaunch of the XFL in 2020 have stepped up a gear with reports that a couple of major television deals are looking likely to be announced very soon.

John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal is reporting that the XFL is in discussions with FOX and ESPN about bringing the games to ABC, FOX, ESPN and FS1.

WWE, of course, has their own billion-dollar television deal starting with FOX in the fall of 2019 which will become the home of SmackDown Live. It will be interesting to see if FOX make a play for the relaunch of the XFL which will return on Saturday, February  8 and Sunday, February 9, the weekend following the NFL's Super Bowl.
