WWE SmackDown Live Superstar Undergoes Name Change

WWE has changed the name of Andrade "Cien" Almas to just "Andrade" as was revealed on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed the change when the Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade match graphic appeared on their screen. To further confirm this change, WWE has updated his profile on WWE.com to just read "Andrade."

This could be viewed as a good sign with WWE likely changing his name to something simpler so they can market him better. Vince McMahon is also known to be in favor or shorter names and the change was no doubt his call.
