Why Did WWE Have Alexa Bliss Go 'Topless' On Monday's WWE Raw?

The Alexa Bliss topless segment which took place on Monday's WWE was reportedly designed to push the envelope and create a buzz, segments like this were commonplace on WWE television during the Attitude Era.

The segment has drawn some criticism for being "out of place" with today's current WWE product and many felt it was execution was awkward.

Despite this, the segment has been viewed over 3 million times on YouTube and remains one the broadcasts most watched segments. So if it was a buzz WWE wanted they certainly achieved it.
