WWE Files New Trademark Request For “Worlds Collide”

WWE has filed a trademark request for "Worlds Collide" in which they list the term for "Entertainment services, namely, a show about professional wrestling."

There is speculation that the terms could be used for a new show or pay-per-view event.

Interestingly "When Worlds Collide" was a 1994 PPV event that took place at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California, it was a joint venture by the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA), now known as Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, and their American partner, International Wrestling Council (IWC). World Championship Wrestling and Eric Bischoff helped produced the show making the first time a non-US-based wrestling promotion was shown live on US PPV television.
