Seth Rollins Reveals WWE Has Been Working On a Mean Gene Okerlund Project

Seth Rollins shared his thoughts on the passing of Mean Gene Okerlund on his Twitter yesterday and revealed that had just completed an interview on Mean Gene's legacy.

It would appear WWE had been working on something for Okerlund prior to his death yesterday. The footage will no doubt surface soon as part of a tribute on WWE Network.

Super bummed about Mean Gene. Literally JUST sat down last week to do an interview about his legacy. He was the most iconic backstage interviewer in wrestling history in my opinion. #RIPMeanGene
