2019 has only just got underway but all eyes are on All Elite Wrestling, which is being funded by Billionaire Tony Khan, co-owner of the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars.
We previously reported that Cody Rhodes has confirmed himself as Executive Vice President of the promotion with The Young Bucks. In addition, Rajah.com is reporting that both Chris Jericho and Jim Ross will be heavily involved with the promotion.
The speculation surrounding Jericho and J.R. goes back several months but both have been coy or denied involvement with AEW, but it looks as if they are just biding their time for the $100 million launch of the brand.
Ross is still under contract to WWE for another few months but the speculation is that he will not sign a new deal and only then he will publicize his involvement with AEW.
AEW is also reportedly set "go hard" at wrestlers who have contracts expiring with WWE in an attempt to lure them over. Sports agent Barry Bloom is reportedly working on talent recruitment, and one name he represents that has come up is WWE Hall Of Famer Bill Goldberg.
The company is also said to be focused on other off-screen talents such as producers and agents.
As previously reported, AWE executives are working on a deal to get the promotion on television with Time Warner's TNT/TBS rumored. Khan is reportedly using all his connections to secure a deal.
