At tonight’s WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs event, Braun Strowman defeated Baron Corbin in a TLC Match; however, Strowman did not particpate very much physically due to undergoing recent shoulder surgery, as he was wearing a sling on his arm. Instead, Strowman received assistance from Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, Apollo Crews, Finn Balor, Kurt Angle, and Heath Slater (whom Corbin had named referee for the match).
Strowman arrived prior to Slater finishing his ten-count and informed Corbin that he forgot to mention there were no disqualifications in a TLC Match, meaning he could have someone help him if they wanted to.
Corbin attempted to leave, but was stopped by Angle, who assaulted him with a chair until he got back into the ring. After Corbin was laid out, Strowman placed his foot on Corbin’s chest and Slater performed a three-count.
As a result of Strowman’s victory, Corbin is no longer ”General Manager-elect” of Monday Night Raw, and Strowman will also face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at next month’s Royal Rumble event.
