Last month, Joey Ryan had suffered an injury which is looking to keep him out of being able to perform. He is currently dealing with a suffered a torn pectoral.
Ryan had been last seen during an MLW taping in November where you could see he was already wearing a sling due to his arm being messed up at that point.
Late last month, he did provide an update to his fans.
“The MRI revealed that I have an acute tear of the left pectoral muscle including a high-grade tear of the clavicular head at the myotendinous junction and a high-grade intratendinous tear of the sternal head with retraction and hemorrhage into the muscle belly. Disorganized fibers of the muscle tendon tear identified within the deltopectorial groove.
“The Doctor is recommending surgery and I’m to call the surgeon on Monday or Tuesday to set up an appointment to see them. A timetable on recovery will be determined by the surgeon.”
He had to announce he's cancelling some tour dates due to his injury
Due to my current injury status, unfortunately I have to cancel the following;
