On tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, the partnership between former Raw Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre officially came to an end during an in-ring “Drew McIntyre Appreciation Night” segment, which also featured Acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin.
Ziggler stated that he was the brains behind their recent dominance of Raw, but after McIntyre responded by saying that he himself was the whole package, he informed Ziggler that the business relationship they had was no longer working for him. McIntyre also stated that the truth was that Ziggler’s role was to help McIntyre get to a more prominent position on Raw.
Following the back-and-forth, Ziggler attacked McIntyre and took him out with the Zig Zag. Corbin then made a match between the two, which was won by Ziggler due to interference from Finn Balor.
