According to a report from both PWInsider.com and ProWrestlingSheet.com, Ring of Honor Wrestling has signed former WWE Superstar Pierre Carl Ouellet to a full-time talent contract.
Longtime fans may remember Ouellet as one-half of The Quebecers along with "The Mountie" Jacques Rougeau. The Quebecers were three-time WWE World Tag Team Champions. They also worked for World Championship Wrestling in 1996 and 1997 as The Amazing French Canadians.
In 1995, Pierre was repackaged in WWE as the pirate character "Jean-Pierre LaFitte" and feuded with Bret "The Hitman" Hart for a short time before eventually parting ways from the company.
Ouellet has kept in good physical condition and is currently having a career resurgence on the independent circuit at 50 years of age. Here is a recent picture of him from Twitter:
