WWE Hall of Jesse 'The Body' Ventura has said he is considering running for the US Presidency in the near future.
Speaking to TMZ, the former wrestler and commentator said there has been interest in him running, but he still isn't sure.
He said: "The [Green Party] has shown some interest,” Ventura told TMZ. He added, “I haven’t made a decision yet because it’s a long time off.”
Ventura famously became Governor of Minnesota in 1998, representing the reform party, winning 37% of the vote.
Whilst Governor, Ventura made a one-off appearance at Summerslam 1999, which was held in Minnesota, refereeing the triple threat main event between Triple H, Mankind and then WWF Champion 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin.
The Predator actor previously teased running in 2016, but decided against it.
Alongside Ventura, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has reportedly shown interest in running in the 2020 election, but has not said much publicly on the matter.
