Former WWE Referee Jim Korderas Reflects on the Night of Owen Hart's Passing in 1999

Former WWE referee Jim Korderas was recently a guest on Prime Time with Sean Mooney. As fans may be aware, Korderas was the scheduled referee for the Owen Hart (as The Blue Blazer) vs. Godfather match that was scheduled to take place at the Over the Edge pay-per-view on May 23, 1999. Before the match, Owen tragically fell from the ceiling, as he was set to perform a special ring entrance where he was going to descend into the ring from cables that were attached to a vest on his body. Korderas was standing in the ring when Owen fell and landed in the ring.
