As seen on Monday's WWE Raw, Dean Ambrose turned heel on Seth Rollins in a shocking conclusion to the show.
The heel turn was much earlier than originally expected, given the fact that Roman Reigns will be out of the picture for a while.
According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ambrose was due to turn heel in time for the Survivor Series pay-per-view, but the company felt they needed to make the call early and Monday seemed like the perfect opportunity to get the desired reaction.
As Reigns was factored into big plans for WrestleMania 35, the company will no doubt be looking to fill the void with some big matches and Ambrose vs. Rollins is reportedly being considered for the biggest show of the year.
