Interesting Name that WWE Considered Bringing in as 205 Live General Manager Before Drake Maverick

Before naming Drake Maverick as the General Manager of 205 Live back in January, WWE officials were reportedly interested in bringing in a former WCW and Impact Wrestling personality.

According to ProWrestling.com and The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, longtime WCW and Impact Wrestling commentator "The Professor" Mike Tenay was considered for the role.

No word on why exactly Drake was ultimately given the role instead of Tenay.
