Former ROH Star Signs With WWE

At the most recent TV tapings, as soon as Punishment Martinez dropped the ROH TV Championship news got out that he was on his way to WWE. It was confirmed by PWInsider this week that Martinez has signed a deal and will be reporting to the Performance Center and NXT brand soon

ROH presented an offer to stay with the company however Martinez opted for the WWE deal. He has the look and size WWE likes and is pretty good for his level of experience. Martinez broke into the business in 2014 following training at the Monster Factory in New Jersey. No word yet on when he will debut in NXT however one possible date could be NXT TakeOver: WarGames which takes place the night before Survivor Series
