FOX Sports Planning To Air New and Returning WWE Programming In 2019

Since WWE signed their new broadcasting deal with FOX there has been much speculation regarding if the $1 billion offered to the sports-entertainment company for SmackDown Live is the only show the network is interested in.

We already know that SmackDown is moving to Friday nights and is rumored to become 3-hour show, but Joe Peisich of Branburner's Fired Up Podcast has indicated that NXT will be airing on FOX Sports 1 and Saturday Night Main Event will also be returning.

In addition, Peisich mentions that the network is looking to launch a Saturday morning show on FS1 and/or FS2.

As we previously reported, FOX fully intends to present WWE as a legitimate sport with plans to cross-promote on their other big shows and sporting events.
