RAW Superstar Sami Zayn has said that singer-songwriter Cyndi Lauper should be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
In a tweet, the Underdog from the Underground said how Lauper played a crucial part in making WWE relevant in mainstream entertainment.
I only today realized that @CyndiLauper is not in the @WWE Hall of Fame celebrity wing.

As part of the "rock n' wrestling connection" with MTV in the 80's, she was CRUCIAL to WWE crossing over into mainstream. Arguably no celebrity more deserving.#InductCyndi
Lauper is perhaps best known in wrestling, for her appearance at WrestleMania 1, alongside celebrities such as Muhammad Ali and Liberace.
Lauper joined the wrestling world after befriending Captain Lou Albano, who appeared in the music video for 'Girls just wanna have fun'.
