Further Update Regarding The Passing Of Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart

As previously reported, former WWE Tag Team Champion Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, the father of WWE Monday Night Raw Superstar Natalya, passed away this morning at the age of 63.

In a new update, TMZ Sports is reporting that Neidhart’s wife Elizabeth has told investigators that Neidhart had been having difficulty sleeping this past Sunday night, which prompted him to get out of bed in order to turn on the air conditioner, as he had apparently felt it was too hot in the home. According to the report, a police report also states that when Neidhart went to touch the thermostat, he “turned weirdly as if he were about to dance,” then collapsed toward both the wall and the floor, where Neidhart then hit his head.

The report further states that Mrs. Neidhart then immediately called 911, as she believed Neidhart was suffering a seizure as the result of his fall. She also noted that Neidhart regularly took medication for seizures. It is also reported that Neidhart last suffered a seizure back in December of last year, and it was also believed he was dealing with Alzheimer’s disease.

The report also states that Neidhart was found on the floor when EMTs arrived at his home. He had both a four-inch gash and blood on his face, and was pronounced dead a short time later.

According to the report, medication was also found at Neidhart’s home; however, it does not appear that any of it had been abused.
