Rumor: Is Chris Jericho Set to Join Impact Wrestling?

According to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a very real possibility that former WWE World Champion and current NJPW IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho could be joining Impact Wrestling at some point in the near future.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter said the following:

"There is a lot of belief within the business that Jericho is destined to join Impact."

"The 'not wanting to do anything that would get Vince [McMahon] mad' doctrine isn't nearly as strong as it was months ago." (a reference to Jericho previously stating that he wouldn't work for any other promotions in the United States, although it should be noted that Impact is technically based out of Canada now, not the United States)

It was reported a few weeks ago that Chris Jericho responded to a fan on Twitter who asked him if he would ever consider working with Impact, to which Jericho simply replied, "Of course!"
