Tough Enough Contestant Brian Danovich Passes Away At Age 38

Brian Zane, the host of Wrestling with Wregret on YouTube, announced that Brian Danovich passed away at age 38. No reason has been given at this time. Brian Danovich was a collaborator on Zane's wrestling YouTube channel.

Brian Danovich was a $1,000,000 Tough Enough Contestant who tore his pectoral muscle during try-outs, and still came back the next day to complete the obstacle course.  John Laurinaitis recognized Danovich’s passion, and had agreed to sign him to a developmental contract for OVW at the time.

Around September 2005, WWE's website posted an announcement stating he had been released by the company.
