Results of Last Night's Lucha Underground on El Rey Network (08/08/2018)

The following are the results of last night's episode of Lucha Underground on El Rey Network, courtesy of F4WOnline.com/The Wrestling Observer Newsletter:

1. Mariposa persuaded Antonio Cueto to give her a title shot at the Gift of the Gods Championship.

2. Antonio Cueto informed Paul London and the Rabbit Tribe that one of them would have to face "The Monster" Matanza Cueto and be sacrificed to the Gods. London chose Mala Suerte, who was easily squashed by Matanza and then sacrificed.

3. Joey Ryan & Jack Evans defeated XO Lishus & Ivelisse Velez. After the match, Evans refused to release the submission hold he had applied to Lishus, which angered Joey Ryan and caused some tension between Ryan and Evans.

4. El Dragon Azteca Jr. defeated Mariposa to retain the Gift of the Gods Championship

5. Worldwide Underground (Johnny Mundo, P.J. Black, Taya Valkyrie & Aerostar) defeated The Reptile Tribe (Drago, Daga, Kobra Moon & Jeremiah Crane, who is now known as Jeremiah Snake). As a result of Worldwide Underground's win, Kobra Moon had to grant Mundo one wish. He wished for Drago to be freed from the Reptile Tribe. Taya was upset that that was what Mundo wished for, but then Mundo proposed to her in the ring, and she said "Yes."

6. As the show was going off the air, Jack Evans and his creepy Doll were shown backstage, and it appears as though Evans is planning on killing Mundo and Taya.
