WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler has spoken to Fox 13 in Memphis making his first comments since the death of his son Brian Christopher Lawler.
Jerry said that he had to rush back from an independent booking North Carolina once heard about the news of his son hanging himself and said he was “glad to hold his son’s hand when his heart stopped beating around 3:30 p.m.”
Lawler said his family has been so appreciative of the support from friends and fans. He said they have heard from thousands of people.
Jerry also commented on the investigation into Brian's death saying, “There may be more to this than meets the eye.”
The visitation and funeral service for Brian will be held Friday at Hope Church on Walnut Grove. The visitation starts at noon and the service will begin at 2 p.m.
