Seth Rollins has said that the fans at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view messed with opponent Dolph Ziggler's performance, during their main-event Iron Man match for the Intercontinental Championship.
Appearing on Lilian Garcia's Chasing Glory podcast, Rollins said that Ziggler was super out of synch from how he normally was.
He said: "I just let them do their thing. I knew we had 30 minutes and by the end of it, I knew they’d be invested in what we were doing and I think they were. It was okay, it was a weird one though."
During the match, several fans focussed only on the countdown clock, which led to the clock being removed, but later re-added after more protest from fans.
"I never understood the concept of coming to the show and doing anything other than watching the show," Rollins said.
A rematch between the two has been set for Summerslam next month.
