As was previously reported, there were rumors floating around that claimed that Jeff Cobb (A.K.A. Matanza Cueto on Lucha Underground) had either signed with Ring of Honor Wrestling or was in negotiations with the promotion about signing, with these reports allegedly coming from Dave Meltzer and The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Cobb took to Twitter to clarify his status:
