The Rock's Skyscraper Blockbuster Disappoints At The Box Office

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's latest blockbuster Skyscraper has suffered another underwhelming week in cinemas, suffering a 56% fall from its opening week. 

Taking $11 million last week, it's the most dramatic second-week fall in the Rock's movie history, with 2015's San Andreas suffering a 53% fall and April's Rampage suffering a 44% fall.

The film tells of Will Sawyer (Johnson) a former FBI leader turned security consultant, who must save his family after an attack on the world's tallest and most innovative tower.  

The film has received mixed reviews by critics, praising Johnson's performance, but criticizing the script as cliche, and too similar to 1988's Die Hard.
