What Was The Main Event Of Extreme Rules Going To Be?

Roman Reigns Vs Bobby Lashley was originally planned to be the main event of the Extreme Rules pay per view, before being substituted for the Iron Man match between Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins.

According to reports, the final hour of the show would also have included the WWE Championship match between AJ Styles and Rusev, as well as the RAW Women's Championship match between Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax.

The Iron Man match was originally planned to open the show, instead of the B-Team winning the RAW Tag Team Championships from Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt.

During the main event, fans in the arena counted down every minute of the timer, which led to the clock being removed from the titantron, though fans still counted.

Whilst in a sleeper-hold, Ziggler and Rollins agreed that the fans had gotten worse after the clock had been removed.
