It was reported a few weeks ago that WWE NXT Superstar Lars Sullivan suffered a broken jaw in his match against NXT Champion Aleister Black at NXT TakeOver: Chicago II.
According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this is not a legitimate injury. It is an angle to protect Sullivan's mystique with the idea being that he kept fighting against Aleister Black, even after suffering a "broken jaw" in the middle of the match.
Sullivan is expected to stay off of television for a few more weeks to sell the "broken jaw" injury.
