Welcome to the coverage for 205 Live!
The show opens with a video package highlighting the No DQ match from last week between Buddy Murphy and Mustafa Ali as well as showing what lead to the main event of tonight with Cedric Alexander defending his title against Hideo Itami.
The opening video package plays before we are welcomed to the arena by Vic Joseph, Percy Watson, and Nigel McGuinness.

The bell sounds as Kalisto dodges Nese for a bit to frustrate him. Nese powers Kalisto into the corner before being pulled back by the referee. Kalisto is whipped into the corner where he leaps over. Nese charges and leaps over him. They trade some kicks that both narrowly miss. Nese whips Kalisto who lands on his hands and hits a hurricanrana to Tony Nese. Kalisto leaps off the second rope, but he's caught and lifted to the top rope. Tony Nese hits an overhead toss from the top rope for a two count. Nese hits two swinging punches to the sides of Kalisto's head. Tony Nese locks in a leg scissors around the midsection of Kalisto. Kalisto rolls up Nese for a two count before Nese reapplies the hold. He releases it to stomp on the chest of Kalisto. He gets distracted by Lince and Gran for a moment before taking a kick to the chin from Kalisto on the mat. Kalisto climbs to the apron before hitting a kick to the charging Nese. Kalisto hits a senton followed by some quick kicks leading into a tilt-a-whirl headscissors. Kalisto climbs up and hits a big crossbody for a two count.
Kalisto hits a roll-through into a head kick. He tries to run for something, but he's caught by Nese with a discus forearm to stop him. He hits the ropes only to take a dropkick. Kalisto hooks the arm of Nese, but he lifts him up and slams him into the corner turnbuckle. Both men are down. Buddy Murphy is growing frustrated with Dorado and Metalik. Nese shows concern as he slides outside as well before Kalisto planchas over onto Nese! The referee tells Buddy to back up. Kalisto rolls Nese into the ring and Buddy Murphy just smokes Kalisto with a huge axehandle to the back of his head for the DQ!

The two sides begin unfolding as the rest of the Lucha House Party come to Kalisto's aid. They fight off Nese and Murphy, but Murphy is incensed!
Drake Maverick is in the back with Noam Dar. He congratulates him on his victory before TJP enters the room. TJP wants a rematch against Noam Dar as he wasn't ready for him last week. Drake says it won't happen tonight as it'll happen next week.
They show a video package highlighting Hideo Itami.

Before the match starts, Akira Tozawa makes his way down to the ring. Lio Rush tells Colin to hold on a second as he grabs a chair for Tozawa to sit in. Tozawa kicks it away. Rush gets into the ring and eats a pin for two count! Lio hits two lightning quick kicks on Colin! Lio does some quick aerobics to taunt Colin before hitting a handstand kick to knock Colin out of the ring. Lio Rush rolls him back in the ring before talking some trash to Akira. Lio Rush hits the Final Hour Five-Star Frog Splash for the three count!

After the match, Lio Rush points at Akira Tozawa. Akira stands on the announce table. He says that Lio is great... he's good! He asks what has Lio done here? He says that Rush has done nothing. He says Lio calls his own shot, but he asks him if he really wants to right him. Lio mouths anytime and anywhere. Akira steps into the ring. He goes to hand him the microphone, but psyches him out. He tries to hand it to him again, but he just drops it with his smile. Akira just glares at him before Drake's music hits. He comes out and says that only one person makes the matches and that's him. He says that next week it'll be Lio Rush vs. Akira Tozawa.
They show a video package for the No DQ match from last week.
Cedric Alexander is shown backstage getting ready as Mustafa Ali gives him a quick pep talk.
Drew Gulak is shown backstage with Kendrick and Gallagher where he says that he'll be watching this main event with great interest.
Next week we'll be getting Akira Tozawa vs. Lio Rush and TJP vs. Noam Dar.

The bell rings as these two circle around. They tie up before Alexander brings him into the ropes. He gives him a clean break, but Hideo pushes his face away. Alexander asks him if that's the best he's got. Hideo pushes Alexander into the ropes before swinging and missing with a roundhouse. Itami and Alexander trade holds for a few moments before Itami comes up on top. There's another clean break from Alexander, but Itami clobbers Alexander with a swinging punch. Itami rolls up Alexander for a two count before Alexander locks in a side headlock. Alexander hits the backflip hurricanrana on Itami. He goes after him again, but Itami hides underenath the ropes. Alexander chops the hell out of Itami's chest. Itami hits a big kick to the chest followed by a sick kick to the back. Itami rains down with punches before stomping on his face. Alexander gets to his knees before getting floored with another kick. Cedric Alexander is being choked in the corner by Itami's boot before the referee backs him away. Itami hits another kick for a two count. Itami tells Cedric to come on as he hits a few punches. Itami floors him again with a kick to the chest. Itami continues his trash talking as he kicks the head of Cedric. Alexander fights up with some chops. Alexander hits the ropes before taking a running knee to the midsection. Itami locks in the body scissors.
Alexander fights out with elbows before catching another knee to the midsection followed by a big kick for a two count! Itami begins to show some frustration before locking in a side headlock on Alexander. Itami yanks Alexander to the mat. Itami kicks at Alexander's midsection. He goes for a cover for a two count. Itami locks in another side headlock as Alexander is struggling. He fights up before hitting some punches to the midsection. Alexander rolls up Hideo for a two count. Alexander hits a leaping uppercut to stagger Hideo. Alexander hits a running charge in the corner followed by a leaping head kick. Alexander leaps from the bottom rope, through the ropes, to hit a blackout for a two count! Hideo slides outside, Cedric hits the ropes as Hideo leaps up to the apron. He nails Hideo with an elbow followed by a sommersault senton over the top rope onto Hideo! Alexander springs from the top rope to miss something. Alexander hits the handspring heel kick called The Neutralizer for the two count! Itami brings down elbows onto the back of Alexander's head before hitting some big kicks to the chin. Hideo hits a tornado DDT draping the neck of Alexander on the top rope! Hideo Itami hits a big tornado DDT for a two count!
Hideo Itami lifts up Alexander and hooks a leg, but Cedric fights back. Alexander hits a big strike as they trade blows. Hideo ends the exchange with a big chop followed by a Helluva kick in the corner. Hideo hits a big fisherman suplex for a two count. Itami begins messing with the bottom turnbuckle pad, but the referee catches him. Alexander leaps from the apron with a springboard move, but Hideo pushes him onto the top turnbuckle with a crash to the outside. Itami hits the running pinpoint dropkick knocking Alexander into the steel steps. Itami tries to lift the dead weight of Alexander into the ring. He rolls him into the ring and covers him for a two count. He tries for another pinfall for a two count. Hideo and Alexander dodge their finishers before Hideo hits a spinning backhand! Hideo Itami hits the ropes before getting caught and turned right into a Lumbar Check! Alexander covers Hideo for the three count!
