Former WWE Champion John 'Bradshaw' Layfield has shown his support for Nigel Farage, the former leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party.
In the since-deleted tweet, the 'Wrestling God' said Farage was "an incredible guest" and "wonderful gentleman," before adding that he had "promised Brexit and delivered."
Farage, who lead UKIP from 2006-2009 and from 2010-2016, was a major player in the successful campaign for Britian to vote to leave the EU in 2016.
JBL later apologised for his tweet after some criticised Farage's controversial views, with the commentator explaining he meant that Farage had been a perfect gentleman to his family.
Want to apologize to anyone who was offended by my last post. Nigel Farage needed a tv studio, i was asked and he used mine (to talk Brexit) and he was a perfect gentleman to me and my family and that was the essence of my post.

This week, two members of Prime Minister Theresa May's cabinet resigned over differing views on Brexit: Brexit secretary David Davis and Foreign secretary Boris Johnson.
Great Britain is set to officially leave the EU on March 29, 2019.
