Chris Jericho has revealed how Vince McMahon had no worries, when TNA Wrestling went head to head with Monday Night RAW in 2010.Â
Speaking on his podcast, the IWGP Intercontinental Champion said how Vince knew that TNA could not compete directly with TNA.
"Vince said 'It’s too much of a machine, it’s too much of a brand, it’s just the way it is.’ And he’s right," Jericho told listeners.
Impact Wrestling went head-to-head with Monday Night RAW on January 4 2010, which saw the debut of Hulk Hogan in TNA and the return of Jeff Hardy.Â
On RAW, Bret Hart returned to the company for the first time since 1997 and made amends with Shawn Michaels.Â
TNA moved back to their prior timeslot on Thursday nights, two months later.Â
