Wrestling and boxing legend Danny Hodge has been officially declared missing. The 86-year-old Hodge was reportedly last seen on July 7th at about 5:20 PM. He left home in a silver Toyota Camry with a license plate that reads "GLV226" and has not returned home since he left.
Hodge resides in Perry, Oklahoma and the Perry Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for him.
In his younger days, Hodge was very accomplished in both boxing and wrestling, but especially wrestling. He captured an Olympic Silver Medal in the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia, and would later hold numerous championships in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). He was also a very skilled Golden Gloves boxer, accumulating an impressive amateur record of 17 wins with no losses. He also had a good professional boxing record of 7-2.
Hodge was inducted into the prestigious Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum (currently located in Wichita Falls, Texas) back in 2007.
