Shaquille O’Neal against the Big Show was teased for a long while around two years ago with the match originally planned to take place at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando.
The match was set to be one of Big Show's final headline matches before he retired from the ring but it never really materialized because according to O'Neil there was too much talking on WWE's end with regards to what type of match it would be, so he ultimately bailed.
However, rumors have now started to surface that the match might be back on the cards for WrestleMania 35 in New York after O'Neal made the following comments in an interview with Chris Van Vliet.
“Next April? Well, I got a little time to get these back [biceps] up,” Shaq said, to Chris Van Vliet. “You ready for that Big Show? I don’t think you are baby. Oh can’t squeeze that. Can’t squeeze a rock can you? I’ll think about it.”
Big Show has not been seen in the ring for a while now following hip surgery which lead to a bad infection and a slow recovery. Show is winding down his in-ring career but would surely jump at the chance to get in the ring with O'Neal for one final WrestleMania match.
