Let us be honest, the cruiserweights on Monday Night Raw never really worked. If you've not noticed already since WrestleMania the cruiserweight division hasn't featured on the flagship broadcast.
Many saw this as WWE giving up on the struggling division but it was actually a conscious decision made by Triple H when he took over the running of the brand from Vince McMahon.
PWInsider reports that Triple H didn't want the 205 Live roster overexposed and took the decision to pull the plug on their matches on the red brand. Hunter has been in the process of changing fan perception of smaller guys and giving them more legitimacy in a company which has always struggled to push the smaller guy.
There are reportedly still plans to get 205 Live back on the road once there is more momentum behind the brand.
