Due to Shinsuke Nakamura's injury, WWE United States Champion Jeff Hardy issued a U.S. Open Challenge to anyone who wanted to step up and challenge him for the U.S. Title tonight on SmackDown Live.
The challenge was answered by SAnitY leader Eric Young, but the match ended in a disqualification after The Usos and Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe interfered. This led to a Six-Man Tag Team Match, which was won by Hardy and The Usos.
