On tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown Live, former two-time WWE United States Champion "The Bulgarian Brute" Rusev outlasted Daniel Bryan, Big E, Samoa Joe and The Miz in a Five-Man Gauntlet Match to become the new Number One Contender to the WWE Championship.

It will be Rusev vs. "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules.
