Raw Women’s Championship Match Announced For WWE Extreme Rules

On tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, General Manager Kurt Angle announced that at the upcoming Extreme Rules event, Alexa Bliss will defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Nia Jax. Angle had stated that Jax would be invoking her rematch clause for the event.

Bliss became Raw Women’s Champion for a third time at Sunday night’s Money in the Bank event, cashing in her Women’s Money In The Bank contract and pinning Jax after attacking both Jax and Ronda Rousey with the briefcase, the latter of which caused Rousey to win her match against Jax by disqualification.
