What Exactly Did WWE Officials Initially Have Planned for SAnitY & The Authors of Pain?

As was previously reported, both SAnitY and The Authors of Pain have reportedly fallen victim to WWE Creative not having any ideas as to how to use them on the main roster, hence the reason why we've barely seen the AOP since their debut on Raw, and SAnitY has yet to even make their debut on SmackDown Live.

According to Bryan Alvarez of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the biggest reason why the two teams were called up from NXT in the first place was because WWE officials were originally planning on having a Tag Team Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view, so they wanted to have more teams to enter in the match. But since those plans were scrapped, they essentially have nothing for either team right now.
