Raven Talks About How He Used to Think His Wrestling Career Was a Failure

Former NWA: TNA World Heavyweight Champion, ECW World Heavyweight Champion, WCW United States Champion, and 27-time WWE Hardcore Champion Raven recently spoke to former WWE announcer Sean Mooney on Prime Time with Sean Mooney.

Raven revealed that for a while in his life, he considered his wrestling career to be a failure because he never captured a WWE World Heavyweight Championship, despite the success that he did have in WWE and various other wrestling promotions:

"I always held myself to a higher standard. I thought my career was a failure because I never was the World Champion of WWE. Of course, the odds against that were astronomical. The fact that I burned my bridge up there numerous times was making sure it’s not going to happen and I may not have been qualified to be the World Champion – I mean, I think I was – but let’s say some people didn’t think I was."
