Lucha Underground Executive Producer Chris DeJoseph has said he hopes there will be more eyeballs watching season 4, when the show returns this week.
Speaking to ProWrestling.com, DeJoseph said that if he had his way, the show would air every week, as opposed to this season's 22-episode limit.
He said: "We’ll see what happens. I think the future is good for Lucha Underground. We are going on past 100 episodes. I don't think anything is going to stop us."
The 4th season will be produced with a lower budget, but will continue on from last season, where Pentagon Dark defeated Prince Puma to end his LU career.
DeJoseph made it clear that this season has been filmed in a whole new area.
"The Temple had to relocate to this old icehouse. It’s a pretty cool thing, but just like the old temple, this new temple is just as big of a character in the show as the original," he said.
